INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This Information Notice has been prepared by Fleu (“Our Company”), acting in the capacity of data controller, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), to inform and clarify how the personal data of our customers/users, individuals benefiting from our products and services, and all other persons associated with our Company, are processed. Detailed information regarding the processing of your personal data shared with our Company can be found in the Policy on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data (the “Policy”), available at www.fleuofficial.com and at our Company’s showroom.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Within the framework of your legal relationship with our Company, your personal data that you have shared with us may be processed by our Company in accordance with the purposes of the KVKK and the objectives listed below. These purposes include: ensuring that the necessary activities are carried out by our business units to enable data subjects to benefit from the products and services offered by our Company; executing operations with business partners and/or suppliers; accessing customer records for future purchases to avoid confusion such as name similarities and enabling automatic invoicing; benefiting from general or personalized campaigns; sending campaign information via mail, email, SMS, and phone; personalizing and recommending products/services according to preferences and needs; maintaining customer continuity; sending catalogs and campaigns; handling pre- and post-sales operations; modifying purchased products/services to meet individual needs; addressing complaints and inquiries; conducting marketing, sales, and purchasing operations; fulfilling obligations under occupational health and safety laws; ensuring the legal and commercial security of our Company and affiliated individuals; managing internal systems and applications, communication, market research, CSR activities, financial operations, product/project/production/investment quality processes; managing customer relations and satisfaction; contacting customers via mail, email, or phone; handling feedback and complaint processes; and recording and monitoring visitor entries.

All of these are carried out within the scope of personal data processing conditions as defined in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

Transfer of Personal Data and Purposes of Transfer

In line with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to our Company’s business partners, stakeholders, authorized persons, and/or third parties designated by them for purposes such as executing partnership goals, legal compliance, event and corporate communication processes, designing and managing commercial strategies, fulfilling post-sale processes, notifying customers of campaigns via various channels, and sending printed catalogs.

If legally requested by authorized public institutions and private legal persons, personal data may also be shared with such entities. If the processing activity does not fall under one of the exceptions defined in the KVKK, your explicit consent will be obtained prior to such processing.

Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected through all kinds of verbal, written, or electronic means, including but not limited to, technical methods, electronic environments, and social media accounts you have made accessible to our Company. Processing is based on the purposes outlined in the KVKK and the Policy, and on legal grounds including laws, contracts, requests, and legitimate interest.

Rights of the Data Subject Under the KVKK

Our Company, in accordance with Article 10 of the KVKK, informs data subjects of their rights and guides them on how to exercise these rights, while ensuring that the necessary internal procedures are established.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, individuals have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data is processed,

  • Request information if their personal data has been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad,

  • Request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect,

  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the scope of Article 7 of the KVKK,

  • Request that any correction, deletion, or destruction is communicated to third parties to whom the data was transferred,

  • Object to any adverse outcome resulting from automatic processing of personal data,

  • Request compensation if damage is incurred due to unlawful processing.

Requests regarding these rights can be submitted free of charge by filling out and signing the application form attached and delivering it via:

  • Email with secure electronic signature (in accordance with the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070) to the following registered email address: ……………………….

  • Other methods defined or to be defined by the Personal Data Protection Authority.

If a request is submitted by a third party on behalf of the data subject, a notarized special power of attorney must be provided.

Our Company will respond to such requests as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 (thirty) days. However, if the request incurs an additional cost, a fee may be charged as per the tariff set by the Authority.

I have read and understood the Information Notice on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data provided to me. I have been informed about the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, I am aware of my legal rights, and I acknowledge that the consent I give below is valid and based on my free will.

I hereby give my explicit and written consent to the processing of the personal data I have shared with your Company, as well as personal data obtained from related persons or institutions, in order to benefit from and receive information about your products and services. This includes the customization and delivery of suitable products, applications, advantages, or campaigns according to my needs; general information dissemination; and all types of communication with me. I also consent to the sharing of my personal data with your business partners, stakeholders, authorized persons, legally authorized public institutions, private legal persons, and/or third parties they designate, when necessary. I acknowledge that I have the right to withdraw my consent at any time and agree to receive data, voice, and video content for promotional and marketing purposes through SMS, MMS, phone, fax, automated calling systems, email, and similar communication channels from your Company.
